Market coverage
We search the merchants and sources we hold rights to. That is not the whole market, and every API response says so.
What is included
- Merchants who have supplied a feed or API directly and authorised its use.
- Affiliate network catalogues where the programme permits the use we make of them.
- Manufacturer reference data with redistribution rights.
What is excluded, and why
- Amazon. Its programme terms conflict with a general third-party API, an intermediate redirect, price history and ML-assisted processing. Rather than partially comply, we exclude it entirely.
- Merchants without a feed. Crawling is disabled by default and per-merchant opt-in, so a merchant who has not opted in is not covered.
- Sources that do not permit agent access. Some programmes have not approved AI agent traffic. Those sources are excluded from agent responses and their absence is disclosed.
How to read a coverage block
merchants_searched against merchants_known gives the fraction of our own catalogue that was searched. market_complete is always false. limitations lists what specifically was missing: unresponsive sources, incomplete prices, stale offers, and results withheld under source rights.
